Doug Rudolph - Senior - 3pm - 6pm - drudolph914@gmail.com

General Overview: There weren't many students in for code red last week. There were 2 students from Data structures and 3 students from 111, each of which were asking me to teach topics outside the scope of either class; the questions generally were related to Java specific software design strategies.

CS 111: Taught a group students how to use arrays, and different syntax that wasn't covered in class.

CS 112: For the one student I did help with Data Structures, I showed him basic methods used to design a recursive algorithm and taught how to the theory behind the topic of recursion.

Lydia Wang - Junior - 3pm - 6pm - secrlickq@gmail.com

This week ended up not being very heavy on Code Red.  Not many people were there for Code Red.  The only people I helped was for topics unrelated to data structures.  I expect this week to be more busy though.

Andre Periera - Senior - 1pm to 4pm - andreper@scarletmail.rutgers.edu

Code Red was relatively tame when I was on duty. There were a few students from the Data Structures course doing the My Little Search Engine project, which was good to see considering that it isn't due for another two weeks or so. Apart from that, there was one person who needed some help with a very small programming project regarding reading, converting characters, and writing those characters into a file in Java. Not much else went on.

Today was pretty slow. I didn’t help anyone so I can’t speak about any trends I noticed. Other people were being helped however and everything ran smoothly.

SaraAnn Stanway - Sophomore - 2pm - 6pm - sys41@scarletmail.rutgers.edu
Pretty light day, only tutored one kid. She was an international student (Chinese) and had a lot of trouble understanding the directions for the 111 project. I ended up just sitting with her for a while reading them and explaining what she was supposed to be doing. Happens fairly often
